Coaching
I am passionate about supporting artists in every part of their performance journeys.
Although I am particularly focused on helping young folks in preparation for their college auditions,
I am more than happy to aid in any kind of artistic endeavor that I can - older and younger people are all great,
and oddly specific requests are also welcome! Below are my specialties.
Let me know what you have in mind and we can figure out if we would be a good match!

My coaching approach is based in the belief that one already has everything they may need to give a killer performance, and that I am there to help find more depth inside yourself,
facilitating the uncovering of already alive skills and techniques from within the artist.
Cultivating confidence is paramount.
I customize every session to help each individual to address their specific goals and challenges.
I have been performing and auditioning since I was a young child. I have worked on opportunities ranging from being in professional productions, to directing full length productions, to auditioning for and getting into college for acting, and am currently a NYU Tisch Drama student with an emphasis in Musical Theater.
I have gone to and submitted for hundreds of auditions in my life, and have taken many workshops and classes on the subject as well. I have been studying the craft of acting since I could speak, and I am growing more everyday!
I am invested in sharing what I have experienced and learned to help others on their paths!

I can do online live-video sessions, or, if we are in the same area, I am open to in-person as well.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in learning more or have any questions,
and lets find out if we are a good match!

Monologue Coaching
Vocal Coaching
Musical Theater Song Coaching
Self - Tapes
We will do physical exercises, use text analysis,
and apply imagination-based activities in order to more fully embody and understand the character and their given circumstances. We will also incorporate lots of play to find further colors and textures within the piece.
I can help with a range of styles,
including contemporary, Shakespearian, and expressionist text.
We will focus on creating a healthy, sustainable, and pleasurable sound through the use of breath control,
resonance chambers,
and vocal placement.
We can work on styles such as Musical Theater (both belt and legit), Pop, Country, Folk, and Rock, all from a variety of decades and eras.
Acting through a song can feel very different from doing so with a monologue, so we will approach these songs with the use of objectives, tactics, actions, finding an emotional arc, and tapping into your impulses, imagination, and physical body to make the song feel more like a sung monologue. We will incorporate the context of the source material while working on making it the artist's own and furthering their own unique take on the piece.
Many auditions; ranging from professional to college to community theatre, require an initial self-tape or prescreen in order to be considered to be seen in person, making filming oneself a necessary skill.
I will go over both the content of the video, whether that be spoken, sung, or danced,
as well as the more technical elements such as lighting, framing, sound quality,
and your slate. I can also help with resume and headshot editing or questions.
